Tata Motors rings in 2017 with the launch of its much-awaited ‘lifestyle vehicle’ Hexa at a starting price of Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) which will give competition to rivals Mahindra XUV500 and Toyota Innova Crysta. Available in six variants, the top-end model of Hexa is priced at Rs 17.49 lakh. The SUV will be available in over 300 sales outlets across the country.
“Ever since its first showcase as a concept, the Hexa has generated a great amount of curiosity and excitement, and customers are sure to find value and prestige that goes beyond their expectations,” said Mayank Pareek, president – Passenger Vehicles Business Unit at Tata Motors. The company opened bookings for the car in November last year.
Apart from Mahindra XUV500 and Toyota Innova Crysta, the Tata SIV is also expected to take on Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, Mahindra Scorpio and Honda BRV that are priced lower than the Hexa.
Hexa features a new first-in-segment ‘super drive modes’ system that allows the driver to switch between four different driving modes – auto, comfort, dynamic and rough road.
Hexa comes with a warranty of 3 years or 100,000 km – whichever is earlier. Additionally, customers will be offered an engine warranty of 3 years or 150,000 km, whichever is earlier.
